LEMMINKÄINEN’S OKA OY TO BUILD A LARGE LOGISTICS CENTRE FOR
TOKMANNI

Oka Oy, a subsidiary of Lemminkäinen Group’s specialist building
contractor, Oy Alfred A. Palmberg Ab, has signed a contract to
build a new logistics centre for the budget-priced retailing chain
Tokmanni Oy. The centre will be built in the Kapuli district of
Mäntsälä beside the Hanko-Mäntsälä-Porvoo road near the new direct
rail link between Lahti and Järvenpää.

The contract is worth about EUR 40 million. When completed, the
centre will be largest logistics facility ever built on a green-
field site in Finland. The footprint of the building is approx.
75,000 m2.

Site preparation works will begin in December 2006 and the
facility will be completed in summer 2008.
